This is one of the most unattractive Chanel campaigns from Karl Lagerfeld I have ever seen. Claudia Schiffer looks boring on these images. But sunglasses are lovely, especially the frames decorated with chain woven with lambskin leather.

Karl Lagerfeld decided to make Chanel Eyewear very special for Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012. He used the signature element of Chanel – the chain – and put it on a range of sunglasses. The result is amazing. I have never seen anything like this before.

I understand that sunglasses are amazing and they will sell anyway but why not do a better campaign? A livelier and more stylish one? Those flower headpieces look ridiculous on a woman like Claudia Schiffer.
